We went to Gothenburg this weekend to install three additional VPN servers in order to handle the increased traffic flow. Prior to the trip, we had three VPN servers in Gothenburg - which means we've now doubled our capacity from 3 Gbit/s to 6 Gbit/s.
It's pretty likely that you've already used the new servers if you connect using our desktop client and live around the Gothenburg area. The new servers have been given the names of: VPN65, VPN66 and VPN67.
In terms of the hardware, the new servers are Dell PowerEdge R230 with an Intel Xeon E3-1220V6 processor with 8 GB RAM. Of course, they don't have any hard drives connected to them (which you can verify in the pictures below).
