This is the third summary we publish that shows the amount of traffic passing through our servers, uptime and traffic spikes.
During December, we had a planned maintenance to update the servers, restructure the rack cabinet and restart our switch. This operational disruption reduced our server uptime in Stockholm.
VPN01 - Malmö

Analysis
VPN01 encrypted and anonymized a total of 31 317 GB (30.6 TB) traffic.
Peak traffic was at 451 Mbps, which is 44.0% of maximum capacity.
95th percentile was only at 232 Mbps, which means that 95 percent of the time VPN01 was below 22.7% of maximum capacity.
VPN01 had an uptime of 99.96% during December. Since the downtime only affected the servers in Stockholm, 99.96% is the final uptime.
VPN02 - Stockholm

In December, VPN02 encrypted and anonymized a total of 45 546 GB (44.5 TB) traffic.
The peak of traffic for VPN02 was at 591 Mbps, which is 41.2% of the maximum capacity of 1.4 Gbps.
95th percentile was 295 Mbps, which means that 95 percent of the time VPN02 was below 20.6% of maximum capacity.
VPN02 had an uptime of 99.77% during December. Taking into account our planned downtime, the uptime was reduced to 99.62%.
VPN03 - Stockholm

In December, VPN03 encrypted and anonymized a total of 41 473 GB (40.5 TB) traffic.
The peak of traffic for VPN03 was at 651 Mbps, which is 45.5% of the maximum capacity of 1.4 Gbps.
95th percentile was 278 Mbps, meaning that 95 percent of the time VPN03 was below 19.4% of maximum capacity.
VPN03 had an uptime of 99.9% during December. Taking into account our planned downtime, the uptime was reduced to 99.95% .
VPN04 - Stockholm

During December, VPN04 encrypted and anonymized a total of 52 913 GB (51.7 TB) of traffic.
The traffic peak for VPN04 was at 705 Mbps, which is 49.2% of the maximum capacity of 1.4 Gbps.
95th percentile was 362 Mbps, meaning that 95 percent of the time VPN04 was below 25.4% of maximum capacity.
VPN04 had an uptime of 99.92% during December. Taking into account our planned downtime, the uptime was reduced to 99.69%.
VPN05 - Stockholm (Delaware)
On December 19th we offered our customers US IP addresses associated with a new server.
Since the server first came into production on December 19th, we will start reporting traffic & uptime for VPN05 next month.
WEB01 - Falun

WEB01 had an uptime of 99.93% in December, resulting in a total downtime of 30 minutes.

SQL01 - Falun

We had some very short downtime with SQL01 during December, resulting in an uptime of 99.97% . The downtime for SQL01 during December was thus 12 minutes.

SQL02 had an uptime of 99.96% in December, resulting in a total downtime of 18 minutes.

Summary
During December we managed to keep an uptime of at least 99.5% even though we had a planned downtime. It is also clear that during December we were not close to our maximum capacity, which means that we have a lot of room to bring in new customers, but also to ensure high speeds for our current customers.
VPN04 had the highest traffic consumption in December and VPN01 had the lowest. From the previous month traffic that we anonymize and encrypt has increased significantly.
In December, OVPN encrypted and anonymized 51 855 GB (50.6 TB) more than in November.
